Philly ushers in another fun winter week filled with festivals, special museum programs, dining events and more.
Start working up an appetite! A number of great food-and-drink-focused happenings go down this week, including the final days of Center City Restaurant Week; a Founders Brewing Company beer garden and chowder-tasting crawl in Manayunk; a showcase of local craft Belgian-style beer in West Chester; and a festival for chocolate lovers in Kennett Square.
The weather may be chilly, but things are heating up at Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest! The winter wonderland brings back its popular Latin Nights at the Lodge event to get guests grooving with a live band and salsa lessons, all inside the attraction’s spacious chalet-style lodge.
And a number of after-hours events at museums are worth checking out this week as well, including a fabulous Final Friday event at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Dinos After Dark at The Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University and a Game of Thrones-inspired Science After Hours at The Franklin Institute.
Also coming up: The last days of the Lambertville-New Hope Winter Festival, the Academy of Music’s Anniversary Concert and Ball (with special guest Helen Mirren!) and the Art Star Crap Bazaar.
