Moxy East Village: NYC

Moxy, East Village, NYC

It’s brand new (it opened in September), and the theme here is playtime–hence the swinging chairs! We are obsessed with the Moxy brand because they take design as seriously as we do, but this one is beyond. There’s an underground lounge, a French-Mediterranean restaurant, a co-working space (you can’t play all the time) and it’s pet friendly. Pro tip: Take an Insta pic in the elevator, which is all mirrors. You can’t go wrong.

Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas

Las Vegas, Waldorf Astoria

Vegas is a sexy spot, and the sexiest hotel on the Strip right now is the Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas (previously Mandarin Oriental). It’s dark, it’s sleek, it’s curvy, it’s non-smoking (so you won’t stink) and it offers perfect Sin City views. And, there’s no gambling in this hotel, so you won’t get mad at your partner for losing all your money.

The Old No. 77 Hotel & Chandlery: New Orleans

New Orleans

Located steps from the French Quarter, this hotel exudes sex appeal. The bar in the lobby is lively, and the drinks are ridiculously good. There’s a boutique vibe here, with loft-style rooms and exposed brick. Make sure you grab morning coffee from the coffee bar; this might be the strongest, best coffee we’ve ever tried.

The Ritz-Carlton: Chicago

Ritz-Carlton, Chicago

We’re all about luxury when we it comes to treating to our sig-o: We want over-the-top rooms, grand bathrooms, thick robes and fancy fancy fancy. If that translates to sexy for you, then this is your hotel. It’s in downtown Chicago, but to be completely honest, when we stay here, we tend not to leave the room. The linens are such high quality that we want to wrap ourselves in them and forget that there’s a world outside our windows. The room service doesn’t hurt.

Calistoga Ranch: Napa, CA

Calistoga Ranch, Napa

You’re staying in a freestanding lodge (translation: all privacy), you have your own outdoor hot tub, outdoor private rain shower and you’re within a misty forest. It doesn’t get more romantic than this. Did we mention there’s a private wine cave?

The Line Los Angeles

Line Hotel, Los Angeles

The loft-like rooms have floor-to-ceiling views of the Hollywood Hills. There’s also the greenhouse-like eatery Openaire and Breakroom 86, the much-hyped bar and karaoke lounge (entrance is through a vending machine) from famed nightlife impresarios the Houston Brothers. Party the night away before returning to your room to explore your intimacy kit (each room comes stocked with one, along with hangover pills, just in case). Take a refreshing bike ride after your long night, as bikes are provided to each guest.

Mirror Lake Inn Resort & Spa: Lake Placid, NY

Mirror Lake Inn Resort, Lake Placid

It’s all about cuddling in this uber-romantic resort. If you come here during summer, chill out with your love at their private beach and go paddle boarding and fishing (water sports are included). We prefer it in winter, however, as this hotel feels so luxurious during a blizzard when the fireplace is going, a glass of red wine is in hand, a soak in the hot tub is forthcoming, and the pine aroma and the tranquility of the cabins intoxicates.

Baker’s Cay Resort Key Largo, Curio Collection: Key West, FL

Baker's Cay Resort, Key Largo

Hide out with your partner under the waterfalls, located at each pool. Wander right into the ocean from the beachfront, where you can snorkel and snap photos of colorful fish. Then, retreat to your modern room in this newly renovated hotel (it was previously destroyed by hurricanes). There are romantic swinging benches at the beach bar, so you can relax with a drink while watching the sunset.

Gramercy Park Hotel: New York City

Gramercy Park Hotel, NYC

Follow in the footsteps of The Rolling Stones and Humphrey Bogart (he was married to his first wife on the roof here). Rest your head on a bronze-studded velvet headboard, and sip bubbly out of custom-cut crystal glasses. Close those dark red velvet curtains and relax. It doesn’t get sexier than this.
