2.3 million passengers traveled with SAS in May, an 8 percent increase compared with the same month last year. Airline’s capacity increased by 8 percent and RPK increased by 11 percent, compared with May 2023. The flown load factor for May was 79 percent.
“We are pleased to see that passenger volumes continue to increase. 2.3 million passengers traveled with SAS in May, up 8 percent compared to the same month last year. We had strong operational performance in May and regularity reached 99.6 percent. During the month, SAS also signed a new 3-year agreement with Apollo worth SEK 4.5 billion, meaning that SAS remains Apollo’s major charter operations partner in Scandinavia from the summer of 2025 through the summer of 2027. The new agreement with Apollo reaffirms SAS’ position as a valued partner in the leisure market,” says Anko van der Werff, President & CEO of SAS.
