Successful April 1st, 2025, AirAsia has strengthened its policy to limit the use and paying of power banks on all flights. To lessen the risk of battery-related incidents while flying, these measures are in line with international aviation safety standards. To ensure a clean check-in and board approach, passengers are advised to check that their strength banks adhere to the airline’s plan before arriving at the airport. Power banks that are less than 100 watts ( Wh ) or 20 000 milliampere (mAh ) in size may only be carried by guests. At the check-in shop, power banks between 100W and 160W require airport acceptance. Energy lenders must be kept in the seat pocket or under the desk for safety reasons.
In the bandwidth area, energy banks are prohibited.
Energy banks are prohibited from being used throughout the trip.
Power businesses are prohibited from charging additional travel-related portable electronics throughout the journey.
Energy lenders are not permitted in checked-in bag and must be carried in the house.
