The Machrie, Islay is set to relaunch as Another Place, The Machrie on 1 August, becoming the second hotel in the Another Place collection.
The hotel is set in the dunes above a seven-mile beach on Islay in the Hebridean islands off the west coast of Scotland.
The Machrie will have a new outdoor relaxation and invigoration space nestled in its wild garden.
It will feature a sauna, two large wood-fired hot tubs, a cold plunge bath, terrace and firepit.
The hotel is also set to launch a new “social golf” putting green to go with its championship links course.
A new games room also opens this summer just a few steps from the main hotel building, with a pool table, table football, table tennis and croquet lawn just outside.
This summer the hotel will have 10 family rooms with sofa and chair beds for children, while the lodges, each with two bedrooms, will sleep families of 5-6.
