Applicable points and miles are among the most important currencies for travel rewards due to their flexibility and opposition to depreciation. The ability to move rewards to various loyalty system partners reduces the effect of any one program’s devaluation. Some common applicable assets include American Express Membership Rewards and Chase Ultimate Rewards items. To obtain and use these rewards, you must hold a card with an annual fee, such as The Platinum Card ® from American Express ( see rates and fees ) or the Chase Sapphire Reserve®, respectively (keep in mind, though, that not all annual fees are bad ). In Capital One’s collection of cards, there is an often neglected cards with no annual payment that still has applicable benefits: the Capital One VentureOne Rewards Credit Card. The no-annual-fee Capital One Savor Cash Rewards Credit Card is an ideal match to the VentureOne because when you have travel incentives and cash-back accounts from Capital One, you can walk returns between the tickets at a ratio of 1 share to 1 hour. This means that you can gain from outstanding cash-back earning possible while still being able to transfer to colleagues. How’s why the Capital One VentureOne and Savor Cash cards are among the best no-annual-fee vocalists for travel rewards. Earning milesThe VentureOne phone’s profits are easy. It earns endless: However, the Savor Money has more reward categories with elevated earnings. Redeeming milesOne of VentureOne’s biggest benefits is the ability to move to companions as an alternative to taking out via test or statement certificates with the Savor. This allows you to move yards or receive money back when one presents a better price than the other. SINGAPORE AIRLINES/GETTY IMAGESTPG’s March 2025 prices peg Capital One yards at 1.85 cents each owing to its 15-plus important exchange partners, including Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer and British Airways Executive Club. The former can be used to travel to and from London in tone or for American Airlines private flights. Also, you can move miles to its resort partners, including Accor Live Limitless and Wyndham Rewards. This means you can use your rewards from these two cards to redeem for airlines and hotel stays and then handle any remaining fees or costs with the money back. Welcome bonuses without the feesThe VentureOne card’s welcome bonus is 20, 000 bonus miles after spending$ 500 within the first three months from account opening, worth$ 370 based on TPG’s March 2025 prices. The welcome bonus for the Savor Cash is$ 200 cash back after spending$ 500 in the first three months from account opening. When transferring the money up to VentureOne miles, you earn the exact 20, 000 yards on both accounts. In addition to the delightful prize, the VentureOne and Savor Cash have no monthly charges and neither passport has overseas transaction fees. Also, adding authorized users to the profile has no additional charge, helping you earn more benefits. Related: The best no-annual-fee record cardsAlternative optionsCapital One offers a similar cards trio with one of its more advanced accounts: the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card and the Savor Cash cards. While the first card carries an annual fee, it can quickly make feeling to give that fee in exchange for the extra benefits compared to the no-annual-fee choices. While the VentureOne comes with a welcome offer of 20, 000 bonus miles once you spend$ 500 within the first three months from account opening, the Venture X offers 75, 000 miles after spending$ 4, 000 within the first three months from account opening. This bonus is worth$ 1, 388 based on TPG’s March 2025 prices. This is almost four times as many miles from the pleasant give alone and can easily help to sail a community rather than an individual, or it can enable you to travel in company class more than market. JASON FOCTHMAN/HOUSTON CHRONICLE/GETTY IMAGESAlthough the Venture X has a considerably higher minimum saving condition than its rivals, the increase may be useful if you can finish it. The Venture X has an annual fee of$ 395, while the VentureOne has no annual fee. But, by not paying for the monthly costs, you are missing out on some privileges with only the VentureOne and Savor Cash accounts. For instance, the Venture X has a$ 300 monthly payment for orders through Capital One Travel and a 10, 000-mile annual celebration bonus, which only makes up for the annual fee. Alternatively, the increased spending multiplier of 2 miles on every purchase instead of 1.25 miles on the VentureOne will help accrue more miles. This is in addition to Venture X’s more luxurious perks, such as lounge access worldwide and up to$ 120 in statement credits for TSA PreCheck or Global Entry.
