VALENCIA, SPAIN – Avantio, the pioneering short-term rental property management software company, has appointed two key hires for its next stage of growth in human-focused technology.

Mohit Jagawat joins as the first Head of Innovation to put data at the heart of Avantio’s product strategy and guide the next generation of its tools, while Head of Customer Care. Sandra Álvarez Mollá joins Avantio to focus on the people behind the software, incorporating technology and AI into customer success.

Mohit Jagawat brings extensive experience in growing companies through strategic product development, especially in the hospitality sector with OYO Vacation Homes and De Vere hotels among others. Mohit will build his own team to innovate with new products and act as a data and AI champion across the company, steering product development as the industry enters a period of rapid change. AI and the associated use of vast amounts of data is set to revolutionize many industries over the next five years, and hospitality is no exception with huge potential when it comes to prediction, personalization and automation.

Meanwhile, Sandra Álvarez Mollá is an experienced customer success professional with a proven track record of excellence in B2B customer service. She joins from HR tech company Happydonia, and gained detailed knowledge of software in her time in Ireland at customer service software Zendesk and website builder Wix, among others. Sandra is poised to incorporate technology and AI into Avantio’s customer care team to continue offering best-in-class customer service to Avantio’s clients all over the world.

Avantio was founded in 2001 in Valencia, Spain, by Manuel Giner Nadal, a third-generation property manager who began developing software to solve the issues his family saw in their own business. With a clear focus on being a partner to customers and providing ongoing support and education, Avantio’s efforts are paying off in client satisfaction and revenue growth. The customer support team received an impressive average satisfaction score of 4.86 out of 5 in 2023, up from 4.6 in 2022. Meanwhile, Avantio grew its revenue by 30% from 2022 to 2023, reducing churn by half.

Mohit Jagawat, Head of Innovation, said: “I’m very excited to join Avantio and help enhance the capabilities of our vacation rental management software. By building new features, optimizing user experience, and leveraging advanced analytics, the goal is to drive substantial growth for our clients and partners. With a focus on placing data, AI and Avantio technology at the core of decision-making, we aim to deliver exceptional value and facilitate the business journey for all companies working within our ecosystem.”

Sandra Álvarez Mollá, Head of Customer Care, said: “Despite being a technology-based company, Avantio’s motivation is its people, both internally and externally. Every team member is fully focused on helping our clients to grow their business. Avantio’s primary goal is not just to improve the quality of the services we provide to our customers, but also the quality of our teamwork and the team’s growth. We are committed to ensuring that every voice is heard, fostering an environment where new ideas are always heard, and continuing to offer our clients the best solution in the market.”

Manuel Giner Nadal, CEO and founder of Avantio, said: “As Avantio continues to grow, we continue to keep our values of know-how, collaboration and forward thinking at the heart of everything we do. These new additions exemplify that spirit of innovation with our clients’ real needs in mind, never forgetting the human aspect that sets our industry apart. I’m excited to see what they do as our team grows and Avantio’s product suite adapts to the ever-evolving short-term rental sector.”
