IMR Hotels has purchased Ballathie Country House Hotel &, Estate, a historical country house lodge on the banks of the River Tay in Perthshire, Scotland. Although the purchase terms were not made public, Christie & Co. marketed the property for about £5 million in 2019. The two-AA-rosette restaurant is located at Ballathie House, a home from the 17th century that has been in operation since 1972. The resort will continue to be operating while undergoing a gradual program of renovations under its new owner. The resort’s accommodations, dining places, and leisure facilities are being renovated and upgraded by IMR Hotels. The business said it wants to preserve the historic building while modernizing its infrastructure and expanding its offerings to include exterior and wellness-focused activities. The renovation may also concentrate on sustainability, with efforts being made to minimize the impact on the environment and sustain the estate’s natural setting. Additionally, the restaurant’s food and beverage program will be updated with a renewed emphasis on local purchasing. In order to create recipes that emphasize materials from Perthshire and the surrounding neighborhood, IMR Hotels intends to work with local makers, producers, and suppliers. New job opportunities will be created for positions in kindness, food, wellness, and outside guiding as part of the reconstruction. This consolidation marks the start of an interesting trip, said IMR Hotels ‘ CEO, Ishaan Ganju. We are honored to bring forth the tradition of Ballathie House Hotel &, Country Estate and reimagine it for the travel industry’s upcoming technology. When finished, Ballathie House Hotel &, Country Estate does become a top destination for outdoor activities, hunting, and heath, blending traditional outdoor pursuits with contemporary comfort and conservation. From expertly guided excursions to generous spa treatments, guests will have access to unparalleled experiences set against the breathtaking scenery of Perthshire’s rolling hills and immaculate waters.
