Advantage members can book accommodations through SHR’s global distribution system ( GDS ), in addition to Advantage’s global accommodation program, which includes access to more than 45, 000 hotels and over one million serviced apartments. Members of the consortium” will gain a greater choice of lodging” thanks to the partnership, according to a member’s spokesperson for the partnership, while resort suppliers “gain broader reach through focused marketing and streamlined operations.” Due to its investment having a large number of resorts in North America, SHR hotels may benefit from this strategic alliance, according to Paul Dede, head of distributor partnerships for lodging at Advantage.
