CCRA enhances membership services and TRUE accreditation in strategic expansion

FORT WORTH, TEXAS – CCRA Travel Commerce Network announced significant updates that continue advancing the company’s growth plan. Building on its momentum over the past two years, CCRA is expanding its Membership Services Division with a new executive appointment and the addition of a new management role; updated TRUE accreditation requirements and streamlined approval process; plus, new TRUE initiatives to benefit advisors.

Expansion of Membership Services Team

CCRA appoints Holly Carrig-Matthews to the newly established role of AVP TRUE Excellence, setting the stage for innovation and continued growth. Carrig-Matthews, a dynamic force with over 11 years of dedicated service at CCRA, is well-known in the travel industry as the host of PowerSolutions Events, leader of member-focused webinars, and the face of the CCRA Membership Services Division. With a strong focus on advisor success and strategic member development, Carrig-Matthews will lead the growth of the Membership Services Division, ensuring TRUE advisors have the tools, resources, and support needed to thrive in their independent travel businesses.

“Holly’s exceptional experience and leadership will propel TRUE to new heights,” said Dic Marxen, President and CEO of CCRA. “Her comprehensive understanding of the travel industry and commitment to advisor success has set her apart as a key figure in TRUE’s evolution. Her new role will not only strengthen our position in the industry but also foster innovative opportunities for our advisors.”

“I am thrilled to make a meaningful impact on the growth of TRUE by spearheading fresh campaigns with our Membership Services team,” said Carrig-Matthews. “Building a supportive community is essential for the success of our TRUE members. We strive to provide personalized support, enabling advisors to realize their potential and achieve their goals. Witnessing their journey to success fills me with pride.”

In another strategic appointment, Irene Pasquesi has been appointed to the newly created role of Manager, TRUE Advisor & Supplier Success. With nearly six years of service at CCRA, Pasquesi brings invaluable experience in bridging the advisor and supplier experience within the organization. Having successfully operated her travel agency with her own IATA code and then transitioning to a TRUE code, Pasquesi’s journey offers inspiration and guidance to advisors. Her expertise also extends to working with suppliers, optimizing benefits for both groups.

“Bringing Irene into the Membership Services Division has been one of our most impactful decisions this year,” said Carrig-Matthews. “Her supplier liaison role has enhanced the smooth onboarding process for TRUE advisors and, ultimately, their success. Irene’s dedication and personalized approach are cornerstones of our commitment to supporting our TRUE network.”

TRUE Accreditation Updates and Fresh Initiatives Launched with Strategic Team Expansion

CCRA has updated the TRUE accreditation process, streamlining requirements for quicker approvals while bolstering security measures for advisors. Updated criteria for obtaining a TRUE Code now include proof of legal structure, such as a corporation, LLC, DBA, or fictitious name registration, as well as Seller of Travel Licenses for residents in California, Florida, Hawaii, Washington, and Iowa. The new process leverages cutting-edge technology to expedite applications, reducing unnecessary hurdles for advisors. At the same time, an ID verification process enhances protection against fraud.

TRUE Chapters are flourishing like never before, responding to member feedback with more meetings and expanded opportunities for engagement. With Pasquesi acting as the Chapter Director liaison, Chapters enjoy greater connection and community. Monthly meetings are complemented by additional chapters and the filling of open Chapter Director seats, paving the way for a vibrant and interactive network. Furthermore, new programs are fostering closer ties between members and suppliers, offering intimate and impactful environments for collaboration. Exciting familiarization trips and other educational and networking events are also in the pipeline for 2024.

CCRA introduces the newly launched TRUE Playbook, a comprehensive guide designed to fully showcase the benefits of TRUE accreditation. This invaluable resource offers in-depth insights and serves as the ultimate reference for those looking to understand the advantages of being a TRUE member.

In addition, TRUE has introduced a new referral program and is actively developing other innovative initiatives. Stay tuned for more exciting news from CCRA as it celebrates its 50th Anniversary this year.
