The Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) announced that six of the leading voices of the global cruise sector will take the stage at this year’s Cruise360 Australasia.

Slated for 30 August in Sydney’s International Convention Centre, the event offers essential insights to help travel professionals thrive in a rapidly evolving sector.

With regard to this year’s roster of speakers, CLIA managing director for Australasia Joel Katz said that all are highly respected leaders in the field with an enormous amount of experience, and are bound to inspire participants.

Katz said: “Our aim this year is to not only give delegates a clear understanding of how cruising is evolving, but also equip them with practical advice that will allow them to reach new markets and lift their cruise sales.”

A full roster of experts

Confirmed speakers and panelists for Cruise360 Australasia include Tauck vice-president for global sales Steve Spivak; Silversea senior vice-president for expeditions, destination, and itinerary management Conrad Combrink; Celestyal Cruises chief commercial officer Lee Haslett; tourism development manager Chantelle Lusebrink from the Port of Seattle; Aurora Expeditions’ global head of sales David Tanguay; and Cruise Critic’s executive editor David Tanguay.

Aside from those mentioned, the event’s State of the Industry features a panel of regional cruise line heads who will discuss the factors shaping the future of cruising in Australia, New Zealand, and internationally. 

This year’s panel will include Peter Little (Senior Vice President and Country Manager, Carnival; CLIA Chairman in Australasia); Gavin Smith (Vice President & Managing Director Australia, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd); Ben Angell (Vice President & Managing Director, Norwegian Cruise Line APAC); and Deb Corbett (Chief Executive Officer Asia Pacific, PONANT).
