The first Curio Collection by Hilton has opened its doors in Croatia, the brand’s 40th trading country.
Keight Hotel Opatija, Curio Collection by Hilton comprises 54 guestrooms alongside a lush spa with an indoor pool, a sundeck with a rooftop lounge and outdoor pool, and a 100m² multi-purpose meeting space.
The hotel’s restaurant Pierrot is a fine bistro concept that pays homage to the country’s traditional cuisine, with fresh local ingredients courtesy of local farmers and suppliers.
Keight Hotel Opatija houses a harmonious blend of contemporary design elements alongside nods to the local environment and culture. Sleek, minimalist design with clean lines and a focus on functionality brings a sense of relaxation to interiors, complemented by a combination of striking glass and steel features, and low furnishings and soft lighting. Floor-to-ceiling windows also provide guests with panoramic views of the surrounding area, blurring the barrier between indoor and outdoor.
“A major development milestone for the brand, we’re thrilled to debut the Curio Collection by Hilton brand in Croatia with the opening of Keight Hotel Opatija, Curio Collection by Hilton,” says David Kelly, Senior Vice President, Continental Europe, Hilton. “Opatija has been welcoming travellers for 180 years, and I’m excited to bring Hilton’s world-class hospitality to this picturesque coastal town. With stunning views to be enjoyed on the hotel’s rooftop bar and pool, and extensive facilities for both leisure and business travellers, the hotel is a great addition to our existing presence in Croatia. Keight Hotel Opatija joins a growing and impressive European portfolio of Curio Collection by Hilton properties, with openings taking place in a number of exciting locations across 40 countries and territories, such as Mykonos, Lisbon, Ibiza, Cascais, Vilnius and Rotterdam.”
