Bikini Island & Mountain Hotel Es Trenc, a member of Design Hotels, is set to open its doors in July 2024, with designs courtesy of Dreimeta.
Located on the southern Mallorcan coast, the property comprises three renovated buildings – complete with 130 rooms – nestled amongst lush landscaped gardens. Floral murals painted on the buildings’ façades connect the inside and out, with carpets and ceiling inside featuring similar motifs. The property has been designed to embody a bohemian feel, with a warm colour palette and an abundance of custom bamboo furniture.
One of the hotel’s buildings, formerly a pool house, is now a creative lounge developed in collaboration with German recording artist Clueso. The space is complete with an expansive vinyl collection, a professional recording studio and a former pool that is now a sunken stage for events.
The property also features a new outpost of restaurant Neni, as well as an adjacent bar helmed by Hamburg brand Gin Sul. Other public spaces include a hidden boules court and a pool, as well as a gym, yoga spaces, a spa and sauna.
