Vietjet Air announced the launch of a new direct route between Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and Chengdu, China. Vietnamese carrier marked the beginning of Lunar New Year by opening new route that provides Chinese travelers with a convenient and smooth travel choice during the Spring Festival. Moreover, it enhances air connectivity between China and Vietnam, fostering trade and tourism between the two nations and the wider region.
The schedule for the new Ho Chi Minh City-Chengdu route includes one round-trip flight each day, amounting to seven round-trips per week. The duration of each leg of the flight is more than four hours. Departures from Chengdu Tianfu International Airport (TFU) occur at 00:50 local time, arriving in Ho Chi Minh City at 03:55 local time. Flights from Tan Son Nhat International Airport depart at 19:10 local time and reach Chengdu at 00:15 the following day local time.
Ho Chi Minh City, situated in the southern part of Vietnam, serves as the main urban center of the country.
