Focus Hotels appoints new HR director

Focus Hotels has announced the appointment of Niki Ball as its new human resources director. 

Ball joins with over 30 years of experience in HR management within the hospitality sector in which she demonstrated “exceptional” leadership and innovation in recruitment, training and development, as well as employee engagement. 

Having started as the personnel and training manager for Paramount Group of Hotels, she has played a pivotal role in shaping HR infrastructure and processes for a number hotels and hotel groups, including The Midland Hotel, De Vere, and QHotels.

In her most recent role as portfolio human resources manager for Bespoke Hotels, Ball orchestrated the entire HR function across a portfolio of over 30 hotels, spearheading the evolution of the company’s values, recruitment strategies, employee retention efforts, training and induction procedures.

According to Focus Hotels, Ball’s appointment understores its commitment to attracting top talent and prioritising employee development and satisfaction as key drivers of success within the organisation.
