GoodLeaf Farms Partners with Pursuit

CALGARY — GoodLeaf Farms has partnered with Pursuit, the owner-operator of premier hotel properties around the world, to offer dishes with locally grown leafy greens from GoodLeaf’s new vertical farm in Calgary.

“Just as Pursuit works hard to create memorable travel experiences, GoodLeaf is creating desirable flavour profiles that make for unforgettable dining experiences using locally grown food,” says Barry Murchie, CEO of GoodLeaf Farms. “As we continue to grow and expand in Western Canada, it’s exciting to welcome Pursuit as a key strategic partner. This is a partnership that’ll change the face of foodservice in Canada.”

The menus at all of the properties in Pursuit’s Banff Jasper Collection will feature GoodLeaf microgreens, including Magic Micro Broccoli, Kick’n Mustard, Sunflower Crunch, Zesty Micro Radish, Sweet Pea Shoots, Intensely Arugula Micros and Sweet and Spicy Mix.

The Pursuit properties that will feature GoodLeaf microgreens include Elk + Avenue, Prince of Wales, Sky Bistro, Northern Lights, Columbia Icefields, Pyramid Lake Lodge, The Crimson, Chateau Jasper, Farm & Fire, Maligne Canyon Wilderness Kitchen, Terra, Brazen, Aalto, Walter’s Dining Room and The View.

“This is a product that will enhance both our flavour and presentation,” says Martin Brenner, executive chef of Pursuit. “Most of our dinner dishes will see some touch of GoodLeaf greens, adding another local offering for our guests to enjoy, and the flavour profiles will add a fresh, clean addition to our plates.”
