Hotel and Resort Design South unveils 2024 conference programme

Hotel and Resort Design South (HRDS) has announced its conference programme, developed in partnership with NEWH.

The event, held from 6-7 June 2024, will see attendees exploring topics from guest experience and forthcoming trends, to AI tools and immersive experiences, with discussion focusing on the Southern states and LATAM region.

The ‘Leader’s Debate’ will bring together speakers from across The Gettys Group, Marriott International, Hilton and Royal Caribbean Group, while ‘Lifestyle goes corporate – is it an oxymoron?’ will see experts from Marriott International, MEAD Collective and Urban Robot Associates come together to discuss how to replicate the success of lifestyle brands while injecting individuality into hospitality design. Speakers from Hyatt, Six Senses, Iberostar Group and OBMI will unite for ‘Spotlight on the Caribbean’, highlighting the successes, developments and future vision for the region.

Designers and buyers attending HRDS will also have the opportunity to attend the first in-person working group for Sustainable Design Summit, joining peers in the hotel, cruise and travel design industries for ‘Refurbishments: a circularity state of mind’.

With the cruise and hotel market continuing to cross over, attendees of HRDS will gain access to the co-located Cruise Ship Interior Design Expos Americas (CSI) and its curated conference programme.
