The three-star, 132-room Premier Inn Swansea Waterfront in Wales, in the UK, has been purchased by British property investment company ME Asset Management through its company ME Swansea. The hotel has a restaurant and is a 15-minute move from the city center, close to Swansea’s pier. With a remaining contract term of ten years, it is leased to American owner-operator Whitbread. ASK Partners, a European real estate company, granted ME Asset Management a$ 9.6 million senior loan, and the company intends to restore the façade as part of a wider refurbishment program. Owner-operator of French camp Sandaya Group has purchased the four-star, 49-room Hôtel Les Grenettes and a 210-pitch station site in Sainte-Marie-de-Ré, France. The house is north of La Rochelle on the east coast of France, north of Grenettes Beach, on the Île de Ré. The location includes a cafe, two backyard swimming pools, and two restaurants. By 2027, Sandaya intends to invest €2.2 million in the system and leased equipment. This resort purchase is Sandaya’s second.
