Representative ImageAssociation of Asia Pacific Airlines ( AAPA ) preliminary February 2025 traffic figures showed continued growth in the region’s international passenger and cargo markets, supported by positive business and consumer demand. Subhas Menon, AAPA Director General, commented on the findings, noting that” combined worldwide passenger traffic for the state’s carriers increased by a strong 13 % in the first two weeks of the year, reaching a total of 66 million people. Looking back, Menon said,” General, carriers are expected to continue benefit from sustained travel demand and growth in air supplies as a result of ongoing development in e-commerce exercise. In the same time, international air goods demand increased by 4 % year-on-year. However, the state’s carriers are facing headwinds, especially as rising costs, which are exacerbated by ship capacity constraints. In response, Eastern airlines are still taking precautions, carefully monitoring changing running conditions, and constantly looking for opportunities in high-potential growth markets. Demand increased by 9.2 % year over year in terms of revenue passenger kilometers ( RPK), reflecting the relative strength of long-haul markets. The average international passenger load factor increased by 0.4 percentage points to 82.2 % for the month as a result of an 8.6 % increase in available seat capacity. International air goods desire, as measured in transport kilo kilometers (FTK), increased by a more modest 2.8 % year-on-year in February as trade activity slowed across the main production centers, particularly China, during the holiday holidays. The average international freight load factor decreased by 1.7 percentage points to 56.5 % for the month as a result of the increased cargo capacity by 6.0 % overtaking the increase in demand. &# 13,
