SKÅL International Thailand announced that tourism professional Ingeborg Fallet Kristensen is the new president of SKÅL International Krabi.
James Thurlby, president of SKÅL International Thailand. said of Kristensen’s appointment: “We are honoured and delighted that she will now take the helm of our Krabi Club. She is a well-established and respected member of the local tourism community and as such, will be well-placed to make a great contribution in building the membership and profile of the Club and its various initiatives.”
A Norwegian national and a highly respected tourism professional, Kristensen is the founder and managing director of Krabi travel specialist Krabi Spesialisten which is now celebrating its 20th anniversary as a leading provider of custom-designed tours to Southern Thailand, including eco sustainable tours, private island-hopping tours and mountain hiking.
A longtime resident of Thailand, she is also the founder of Wedding in Thailand, a company providing bespoke weddings and events in Krabi, Phuket and other locations in Southern Thailand.
At present, Kristensen is also on the Thai Norwegian Chamber of Commerce’s board of governors, and received the Judges’ Choice Award at this year’s IWTA Inspiring Woman In Travel Awards.
