ITA Airways will inaugurate nonstop flights from its Rome Fiumicino hub to Africa and the Middle East in the 2024 summer season.
Direct connections will be launched from Rome Fiumicino to Accra and Riyadh in June. In detail, a direct connection from Rome to Riyadh will be operational from the 2nd of June with 5 weekly frequencies, while a direct connection from Rome to Accra will be launched from the 6th of June with 3 weekly frequencies that will become 4 from July.
In July, it will be the turn of nonstop flights to Kuwait City from the 1st of July with 5 weekly frequencies as well as to Dakar from the 3rd of July with 4 weekly frequencies.
From the 1st of August a direct connection from Rome to Jeddah will be operational with 3 weekly frequencies.
Flights to Accra, Riyadh, Kuwait City, Dakar, and Jeddah will be operated with the new Airbus A321neo, the latest Airbus type that joined ITA Airways’ fleet, and a reference for technology, digitalization, innovation, efficiency, and design.
