Its 4 % decline was primarily attributed to a dramatic 61 % decline in Chinese visitors in January. In consequence, South Korea became the top cause industry, setting a regular customer history, while China dropped from being Japan’s main source of tourists. Asian travel agencies are now concentrating on diversifying their cause markets to lessen the impact of falling Chinese visitors.
