The third edition of Jia Curated Kiosks (JCK) will take place from 15-18 August, with this year’s theme revealed as ‘In Process’.
Finding home within an abandoned theme park in Bali, JCK 03 aims to celebrate diverse creative processes, promote community collaboration and facilitate cross-cultural exchange. The event also celebrates the Indonesian concept of Gotong Royong, which symbolises solidarity and communal cooperation within society. “In Process for me is a journey of discovery,” says Budiman Ong, co-founder of Jia Curated Kiosks. “A discovery in life or in design is one and the same for me. Like any journey, it is not the end; there will be a next chapter yet to be experienced. It is exciting, and I look forward to it.”
Highlights of this year’s installment include the presence of over 100 brands, exhibitors from local and international backgrounds, and a series of talks as part of a ‘360o Design Dialogue’ curated by Design Anthology. In addition to the main programming, attendees will enjoy music and cultural performances and explore F&B offerings.
Founded in 2021, Jia is a Bali-based home accessories brand focusing on a collective retail experience and styling service centered around craft, design and culture.
