Marcus Cornelious joins The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua as Director of Sales and Marketing

KAPALUA, MAUI, HI – The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua announce the appointment of Marcus Cornelious as its new Director of Sales and Marketing. With his impressive experience in the hospitality industry, Cornelious is set to bring innovative strategies and a fresh perspective to one of Maui’s most legendary resorts.

Prior to joining The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua, Cornelious was Director of Sales and Marketing at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel. During his tenure, he increased topline revenue, developed influential marketing campaigns, and led the catering team to achieve the Sales Team of the Year in 2022. He has held Director of Sales and Marketing positions at the Sheraton Grand Chicago; The Gwen, A Luxury Collection Hotel; and W Union Square.

He earned a B.S. in international management from Kendall College, where he was valedictorian. He holds additional management certificates from Cornell University and Les Roche Marbella International Hospitality School.
