Air Canada has announced a major growth of its summer plan to Mexico, increasing capacity by 18 % over the previous summer. This corporate decision includes the introduction of new year-round routes from Montréal to Guadalajara, as well as increased frequencies to well-known places like Cancun, Monterrey, Mexico City, and Puerto Vallarta.
The new Montréal-Guadalajara course will start operating three times per week as of June 2026, while the Montréal-Cancin route will see an increase in flights to 11 per week. Vancouver may provide 11 regular flights to Mexico City and two to Puerto Vallarta, while Toronto-Monterrey does have four regular flights.
We continue to expand Air Canada’s extensive and well-diversified international system with better communication between our centers and places throughout Mexico, according to Mark Galardo, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer. The expansion of Air Canada’s ability will strengthen our two nations ‘ long-standing trade and commerce partnerships further this summer.
Air Canada, which initially flew to Mexico in 1954, now has a network of eight American cities with 11 Mexican places during the winter. The firm’s extended summer plan will provide 1, 700 one-way daily chairs, improving communication for both passengers and cargo.
Airlines are available for booking on Air Canada’s site, and they include free Wi-Fi for Aeroplan Members, pleasant inflight entertainment, and advanced and business houses. This development is a part of Air Canada’s wider effort to promote business and tourism with Latin America.
