Sudhakar Veluru has been appointed as the new Executive Vice President and Chief Information Technology Officer (CITO) of Four Seasons. The appointment will be effective from March 25, 2024. Sudhakar will report to Alejandro Reynal, President and CEO of Four Seasons, and will operate from the company’s corporate office in Miami.
Reynal expresses enthusiasm in having Sudhakar join Four Seasons during a crucial period of their IT transformation. Sudhakar’s extensive technology and IT innovation background will play a vital role in shaping the digital-first future of Four Seasons, thereby improving the experiences of guests, residents, and employees across their expanding global luxury property portfolio.
Sudhakar’s extensive career of more than 20 years showcases his vast knowledge and proficiency in spearheading digital and information technology transformation projects in both the hospitality and technology industries. His appointment highlights Four Seasons’ dedication to enhancing and fortifying its capabilities to enhance guest and resident experiences and solidify support functions worldwide.
Before Sudhakar joined Four Seasons, he held the position of Chief Technology Officer at MGM Resorts International. During his time there, he led a pioneering digital transformation initiative that facilitated easy access to e-commerce, customer loyalty programs, and casino games on mobile and online platforms. Prior to his role at MGM, Sudhakar held multiple high-level positions at The Walt Disney Company, where he successfully developed and implemented cutting-edge technology solutions and products across different departments, such as MyMagic+, FP+/MagicBands, ShopDisney, CruiseLines, and Vacation Club.
Sudhakar earned an MBA from Arizona State University and an MTech from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur, India. He holds certifications as an Enterprise Architect (SCJEA – Sun Certified Java Enterprise Architect) and a Project Management Professional (PMP).
