The Indian Hotels Company ( IHCL ) today announced that the Gujarati resort’s Palitana Palace will be included in its Taj brand portfolio. The decision, according to Puneet Chhatwal, CEO of IHCL, is a bible to Taj’s continued efforts to redefine comfort and safeguard India’s rich history. The historic charm of the Palitana Palace will be marketed under the Taj company thanks to this relationship with His Highness Thakore Saheb Mandhatasinhji Jadeja of Rajkot. According to Chhatwal, this improvement may also increase Palitana’s attractiveness as a cherished religious location in Gujarat, and open the door for growth in the area’s social and wedding events industry. The Taj Palitana Palace, which has a total of 65 rooms, may be extensively restored to give guests a distinctive fusion of contemporary and historical beauty.
