By Ella Sagar | March 26, 2025, 12: 18 Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL ) anticipates “additional opportunities” for UK agents to sell European sailings this summer, according to its international sales chief. Due to various US airlines cutting flights to the continent, the cruise line is gearing up for more capacity to be accessible in the coming weeks. This will result in fewer National passengers booking. NCL vice-president and main international sales and marketing official Jason Krimmel stated to providers on board Norwegian Aqua during a press conference that” we are going to include some more Europe opportunities]for this year], and we will have quality around that in the next week or so. More: Norway Aqua makes its maiden voyage from Lisbon.” The reason is because US flights, particularly United and Delta, have announced that they are cutting back on some published pull into Europe, so the swing will jump over to the UK and Central Europe clubs to fill that void.” He continued,” He added there will be some” beautiful rates” for particular sailings in the near future, but he stressed that the line’s focus will still be on longer-term tickets for the year and beyond. After officials reported a lack of supply for the upcoming summertime season, Kimmel made his remarks. He continued,” Europe is also our number one item international and to the UK market, Europe still remains essential,” as he continued. The positive thing for us is that we will have more seven-day products in our 2026-27 European year because I believe that was previously a bit of a challenge because we had primarily longer cruises, which allowed the UK to help historically. So this expansion into the Caribbean [with Aqua ] gives us the ability to stretch back, even though we are not really resuming our position as a Caribbean cruise line. With its Asia and Alaska vacations for the UK market, Krimel even identified” great opportunity.”
