STOCKHOLM – ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions, a leading provider of advanced security technology for the hospitality industry, has announced the successful implementation of its VingCard Signature RFID door locks by Pennyhill Park Hotel & Spa in the UK. A high luxury property situated on more than 120 acres of scenic countryside views, Pennyhill Park Hotel & Spa with its VingCard locks can now ensure that each guest experiences a safe environment allowing them to fully enjoy and relax in their surroundings.

After experiencing reliability issues with a previously installed door lock solution, Pennyhill Park Hotel & Spa opted to work with ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions to adopt an effective replacement following the impressive results experienced by one of the hotel’s sister properties. By selecting VingCard Signature RFID for each of its 124 guestrooms and back-of-house areas, the property notably gains advanced security capabilities that protect against the risk of unauthorized room access. This includes gaining full compatibility with the industry’s leading keycard encryption standards. VingCard Signature RFID also features a robust design that is tested to withstand multiple break-in attempts and is capable of ensuring product longevity against wear and tear.

In addition to gaining enhanced security capabilities, Pennyhill Park Hotel & Spa also selected VingCard Signature RFID due to the lock’s sleek and attractive appearance, as well as its ability to seamlessly conform to any property’s unique interior décor. Situated within a building embodying elegance and refined style, Pennyhill Park Hotel & Spa was further able to select from a wide range of VingCard door handle options in order to further bolster its sophisticated appearance.

“Providing guests with an enjoyable and relaxing stay experience means ensuring heightened property security while also creating an environment that is aesthetically pleasing, two things that ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions with its offerings excels at,” said Danny Pecorelli, Managing Director at Pennyhill Park Hotel & Spa. “The company’s VingCard Signature RFID locks not only accentuate our property’s luxurious appeal, but also allow us to meet our commitment of ensuring heightened guest safety using the latest technologies that the industry has to offer.”

With VingCard Signature RFID, Pennyhill Park Hotel & Spa notably gains a flexible and scalable lock solution that can adapt to changes in property security needs or industry trends. For example, the solution is designed with instant Mobile Access compatibility. This allows hotels to activate digital key service capabilities once guest demand for the functionality arises, yet without the costly need to replace existing door lock hardware.
