Qatar Airways, a 5-star carrier renowned for its commitment to excellence, has again been recognised as the ‘Airline of the Year’ by Skytrax. This marks an unprecedented eighth time that the airline has received this prestigious title, further solidifying its position at the pinnacle of the aviation industry. A Testament to Excellence The Skytrax World Airline Awards, often referred to as ‘the Oscars of the aviation industry’, represent the highest standard of excellence in aviation. Furthermore, the airport’s retail, Qatar Duty Free, received ‘World’s Best Airport Shopping’ for the second consecutive year. This is the first time an airline, an airport, and the airport’s retail have been crowned as ‘World’s Best’ in all three Skytrax categories.
