Radio unveils new design ahead of ME London reopening

Rooftop bar Radio has unveiled a “striking” new design refresh ahead of its reopening at five-star hotel ME London on Friday 28 June.

The 200-seat rooftop venue, which was designed by international restaurant designer, Bernard Caroll, benefits from “classic and contemporary” luxury with Eastern-inspired detailing that create an environment that is “sophisticated and yet subtly playful”.

Located on the 10th floor, it also includes a back-lit onyx cocktail bar and will serve modern Asian drinks and sharing plates.

Senior general manager, Daniel Susko, who has previously worked at venues such as Annabel’s SushiSamba and Soho House, will be making cocktails with his team of mixologists using sous vide technology to “inject increased flavour into every sip”.

Meanwhile, executive chef Federico Crisafulli will be leading Radio’s kitchen, serving a menu of modern Asian sharing plates.

Crisafulli is the former executive chef of the Italian Embassy in Tokyo and has also held the role of head chef at Intercontinental Yokohama in Japan and Michelin-starred Grand Hotel in Rome.

Live music from DJ’s and vocal and instrumental artists will also complete the fabric of the premium rooftop venue.
