Start of new flights between Hahn Airport and Pristina

Premiere at TRIWO Hahn Airport: On July 11, 2024, a plane operated by Croatian Trade Air landed in the Hunsrück for the first time. The airline now connects Hahn Airport with Pristina, the capital of the Republic of Kosovo, every Thursday and Sunday. Trade Air operates the flights with an A319 on behalf of the Kosovan airline MyWings. The first aircraft was welcomed with a water shower.

“The new direct connection to Pristina is an important addition to our flight schedule. It enables the many Kosovars living in the catchment area of our airport to travel quickly and easily to visit friends and relatives. But the route is also very interesting for tourists,” said Rüdiger Franke, Managing Director of TRIWO Hahn Airport, on the occasion of the first flight.

Pristina is a vibrant city with a rich history and culture. It offers numerous sights, including the National Library of Kosovo, the Mother Teresa Cathedral and the Great Mosque of Pristina, as well as numerous cafés and restaurants.

Established in April 1994 with its headquarters in Zagreb, Trade Air carries the name of a successful charter carrier. Airline fleet today comprises of five A320, one A319 and one Saab 340 engaged in the scheduled traffic around Europe.
