By Phil Davies | April 02, 2025, 07 :27 Ryanair has become the first German airline to fly 200 million people in a single time. The largest ship in Europe saw a 10 % increase in March amounts, reaching 15 million in the same month last year. With over 84, 000 flights running last month, the weight issue for that month was 93 % the same as it was in March 2024. The 12-month carrying period increased by 9 % to 200.2 million overall. Budget foe Wizz Air, in contrast, described summer orders as “encouraging” as the aircraft reported a surge in March customer carryings. Despite both a return to power development and the ship moving Easter from March to April, the ship reported that the week’s weight issue of 90.5 % remained stable year-over-year. According to Easter being completely in April this time, prices for this month are higher in the “mid-to-high youth.” The central and eastern European flight stated that” June orders look encouraging, with weight components already 2-3 percentage points higher than this time last year in the main summer months.” As a result of a capacity increase of 6.7 %, passenger numbers increased by 6.4 % in March to 5.1 million. The airport reported a 2.2 % increase in the total passenger count for the moving 12-month period, reaching 63.4 million. Abta urges CMA to “do nothing digital” with vacation pricing.
