The Personal Travel Agents, part of Your Co-op Travel, recently hosted its inaugural Millionaire’s Club Lunch. This exclusive event celebrated top achievers who exceeded £1 million in sales during the 2023-2024 trading year.
The event, held at the esteemed Grand Pacific restaurant in Manchester, was a testament to the exceptional dedication and achievements of 21 PTAs who reached this significant milestone. The lunch was an opportunity for the team to be recognised both individually and as a group for their significant contributions over the past year.
Following the pandemic, The Personal Travel Agents proactively ramped up support for their 150 agents, increasing business development support as well as marketing activity with an aim to empower existing agents and help enhance their sales and earnings.
As a result, there was a notable 20% increase in average earnings across all PTAs over the past year, with an impressive 74% of homeworkers experiencing growth year-on-year, and 14% of all PTA homeworkers achieving Millionaire Club status.
Their collective achievements led to a record-breaking year, with sales soaring by 25% compared to the previous year.
The dedication and hard work shown by individual agents also saw 67 agents earning additional bonus commissions through the Commission Builder Scheme, amounting to £270,000 in extra payouts — a 51% increase from the previous year.
Nicola O’Keeffe, PTA and first time into the Millionaire’s club, said: “I was absolutely blown away by achieving over £1m in sales within 12 months, it’s such a big achievement for my business which I’m extremely proud of.
“It was wonderful to get together with fellow ‘Millionaire Club’ PTA’s and the team at Head office to celebrate our success together in Manchester. Without the teams support it would have been difficult to reach such a goal! I can’t wait for cocktails in Jamaica!”
