Earlier in the year, the hotel introduced an open lobby and 299 upgraded bedrooms. Now, the refurbished Sampans restaurant offers a variety of Pan-Asian dishes, including dim sum, curries, and the Malaysian dessert Kuih Dar Dar. The new club lounge, accessible to IHG rewards diamond elite members and guests who upgrade, provides complimentary drinks and snacks, along with comfortable seating and live travel information. The hotel also boasts a 24-hour fitness centre and eight meeting rooms. General manager Matt Byram expressed excitement about the positive public response to the modernisation and the return of Sampans, a previously popular restaurant on TripAdvisor.
