Stoke Rochford Hall, a Grade I listed Jacobean manor house near London, is on the market for over £5m. The 113-bedroom hotel, set in 28.8 acres, includes an unused conference suite and former residence with a leisure centre. Despite its historical significance and scenic surroundings, it requires modernization. Designed by William Burn in 1843, it has served various purposes, including a teacher training college and a conference centre. After a fire in 2005, a £12 million restoration by English Heritage was completed in 2008. Colliers and Enterprise Hotels are marketing the property, highlighting its potential and historic charm. The grounds feature a commemorative obelisk and are near notable attractions like Belton House and Belvoir Castle.

Elite Hotels’ The Grand Hotel in Eastbourne introduced The Garden Grill, offering all-day dining with breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The venue features high ceilings, a lively atmosphere, and a mix of traditional British dishes and international cuisine, with special menus for children and plant-based diets. Executive head chef Hrvoje Loncarevic emphasises local sourcing and sustainability. The restaurant aims to cater to families and hotel guests, positioning itself as a culinary hotspot in the region.

Hintlesham Hall Hotel and Spa in Suffolk is for sale at £7.5m. This 14th-century Grade I listed hotel spans 7.8 hectares and includes 32 luxury bedrooms, function, and spa facilities. The current owners have significantly upgraded the property and secured planning permission for further development. The sale, managed by Christie and Co, offers new owners opportunities for business enhancement. Owner Has Modi expressed gratitude for the staff’s dedication over the years and believes the time is right for new ownership to continue the hotel’s success.
