Warner Hotels is rebranding its country and coastal properties with a new visual and verbal identity, including a fresh logo, brand imagery, and voice. This rebrand is part of an extensive marketing campaign featuring a TV advert that highlights the fun experiences at Warner Hotels. The rebranding was developed in collaboration with Lunar Agency, based on in-depth research on customer preferences. Laila Abdin-Winter, Warner Hotels’ brand and PR director, emphasised that the rebrand focuses on authentic, experience-led holidays, catering to the emotional needs of guests. Jon Sharp, creative director at Lunar Agency, praised the collaboration, aiming to authentically connect with Warner Hotels’ audience.
Dalata Hotel Group has opened the Maldron Hotel Brighton, featuring 226 guestrooms, a waterfront view, and 65 new jobs. Located near Brighton Centre and the train station, the four-star hotel includes executive rooms, a bar, a restaurant, a gym, and five meeting rooms. This is Dalata’s 56th hotel and part of its UK expansion. Developed by Topland Group and built by Cfield Construction, the hotel has a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating for sustainability. GM John Devine highlighted the hotel’s amenities and prime location for both business and leisure guests. CEO Dermot Crowley expressed excitement about the opening and affirmed Dalata’s commitment to expanding in the UK, with another hotel set to open in Shoreditch, London.
The Newman Hotel in Fitzrovia, London, has appointed Alex Drown as director of sales ahead of its opening next spring. Drown, with over 18 years of experience in luxury hotels in London and New York, previously worked at Claridge’s, The Curtain, Nobu London, and Gansevoort Meatpacking. The Newman, managed by Kinsfolk and Co, features 81 rooms, a European brasserie, a cocktail bar, and a wellness floor. Drown expressed enthusiasm about returning to London and promoting The Newman and its unique neighbourhood to guests and industry partners.
