Yotel has introduced its first Yotelpad in Europe with the opening of Yotelpad London Stratford, aimed at redefining aparthotel spaces through smart design and connectivity. Located in a bustling London neighbourhood, the 62-unit property caters to both business and leisure travellers with flexible booking options ranging from one night to long-term stays. The hotel features 24-hour self-check-in stations, a Grab and Go area with local refreshments, and amenities such as laundry facilities and storage. Rooms, or “Pads,” offer compact yet comfortable living spaces equipped with SmartBeds, mood lighting, super-fast WiFi, SmartTVs, and Urban Jungle toiletries. Yotelpad London Stratford emphasises sustainability, earning an Excellent BREEAM rating for its environmentally friendly design, including occupancy sensors, heat pumps, a ventilation system, and solar panels. CEO Hubert Viriot expressed excitement about expanding the Yotelpad brand globally, meeting the growing demand for flexible accommodation.

Lough Erne Resort in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, has completed a significant phase of its multi-million-pound refurbishment, enhancing its status as a premier leisure destination. Under the management of US-based TRU Hotels and Resorts, the resort has refreshed its interiors across 53 luxury rooms, 25 lodges, and communal spaces to align with its natural surroundings. General Manager Gareth Byrne highlighted the transformation, noting the positive guest feedback on the updated design, which blends modern regency style with the resort’s picturesque setting. Acquired in 2015 by Lough Shore Road Limited, a joint venture between Advantage Capital Holdings Inc and TRU Hotels and Resorts LLC, the resort continues to focus on guest wellbeing and mindfulness.

The Emory, London’s first all-suite hotel, has opened in Belgravia, featuring 61 suites with floor-to-ceiling windows over nine floors, including a stunning 300sqm glass penthouse. Guests enter through a private cobbled entrance and have access to various communal spaces, including abc kitchens, The Emory Bar, the 10th floor Bar 33, and The Emory Cigar Merchants. The hotel offers luxury services such as a private chauffeur from airports, daily English breakfast, an in-suite bar, and 24-hour personal assistant service. General Manager Knut Wylde expressed pride in offering a unique addition to London’s hospitality scene, combining top-tier architecture, design, cuisine, and breathtaking views.

Kaya Tourism Group, part of Kaya Holding, has acquired the historic Grade II-listed Great Northern Hotel in King’s Cross, marking its first property in London and beginning its European expansion. The 88-bedroom hotel will see enhanced F&B offerings to serve King’s Cross and St Pancras passengers and locals. Chairman Burak Kaya expressed pride in this significant investment, highlighting its strategic location in one of London’s successful regeneration areas. This acquisition aims to strengthen tourism ties between Turkey and the UK, with plans for further expansion into Europe.
