Nominations 02

Hotelier Maldives has announced that public voting for the shortlisted nominees of the Hotelier Maldives Awards 2025, presented by Bestbuy Maldives (BBM), is now open. The voting period will run from March 25 to April 25, allowing the public to have their say in recognising the outstanding professionals shaping the Maldives’ tourism and hospitality industry.

Scheduled to take place in May 2025, the Hotelier Maldives Awards celebrate excellence in the country’s thriving hospitality sector. Following the successful launch of the awards in 2024, which received over 300 nominations and garnered 100,000 public votes, the 2025 edition has seen even greater participation. When nominations closed on February 10, over 450 nominations had been received, demonstrating the growing recognition of industry professionals.

This year’s awards introduce four new categories:

  • Watersports Personality of the Year
  • Diving Personality of the Year
  • Airport Representative of the Year
  • Resort Manager of the Year

The judging process for the 2025 awards took place from February 20 to March 15. Winners will be determined through a combined evaluation process, with judges’ marks accounting for 60% and public votes contributing 40%.

The winners will be unveiled at a gala ceremony in May 2025, presented by BBM. As a key platform for acknowledging the dedication and expertise of professionals in the industry, the Hotelier Maldives Awards continue to highlight the individuals who play a crucial role in maintaining the Maldives’ reputation as a premier global travel destination.

Industry professionals, colleagues, and the public are encouraged to participate in the voting process to support their favourite nominees. More details on how to vote can be found on Hotelier Maldives website and social media channels.

Both Constance properties participated in a charity collection for underprivileged children.
