With the introduction of its second Boeing 737 MAX 8-200 in less than two decades, Akasa Air has expanded its ships to 34 plane. After departing from Everett, Seattle, via Keflavik, Iceland, and Larnaca, Cyprus, the most recent improvement, which had the subscription number VT-YBL, made its way to Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport on February 16, 2026.
Safran Z200 chairs, which were custom-built to Akasa’s specs, have 4-inch reclines, intuitive backrests, and USB ports for connection, making the aircraft. This growth is a part of Akasa Air’s plan to become one of the top 30 carriers on the planet by the end of the decade.
Since its founding in August 2022, Akasa Air has quickly grown and has now established connections with 26 home and six global locations. The airport has placed a strong attempt for 226 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, with 192 more expected over the next six years, as a result of its commitment to meet India’s growing go need.
Since its launch, Akasa Air has served over 24 million passengers, making it a preferred provider due to its commitment to stability and satisfied customers. The airport’s ship, which is renowned for its lower carbon footprint and fuel efficiency, coincides with its goal to keep India’s fleet India’s youngest and greenest.
