By Phil Davies | March 27, 2025, 05 :16 Air Canada will start operating 75 weekly flights from the UK this summer, adding a new seasonal route between Edinburgh and Montreal. The new services, which begins on June 27 and runs until September 7, will operate three days per week on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, with a journey time of only over seven days. The way will replace the already-configured summertime flights between Edinburgh and Toronto, which are now only offered seven times per week during the busiest of the top months. On the Montreal road from Scotland, a Boeing 737 Max 8 plane with 16 tickets in prime market and 153 in business will be flying. The new company will connect Heathrow, Manchester, and Edinburgh to places like Calgary, Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, and Vancouver. With only a few days until the start of the summer season, Air Canada’s top regional sales director, Margaret Skinner, said,” We are extremely excited to get announcing another new transatlantic way from the British to our house hub, Montreal.” We are proud to be expanding our presence in the market by adding a second course for 2025. We are glad to be the largest airline in the world, offering customers smooth transfers to our global system of destinations in the US, Mexico, the Caribbean, and South America, with up to 75 weekly flights this summer. ” We look forward to welcoming this new way later this summer, and this addition is a great vote of confidence from Air Canada in Edinburgh’s business.”
