Journey Mentor awarded five-year IT contract by travel giant TAS

LONDON / CYPRUS – Journey Mentor, leading travel-tech SaaS company that has created proprietary easy-to-use solutions to solve the travel industry’s challenges, announces that it has been awarded a five-year contract by Total Air Services Ltd (“TAS”), a leading provider of aviation services and one of the fastest expanding General Sales & Service Agents (GSSA) in Bangladesh. Under the terms of the agreement, Journey Mentor will provide TAS with its suite of innovative travel-tech solutions designed to meet the specific demands of airlines, travel agents, General Sales Agents (GSAs) and other industry players, ultimately widening the sales opportunities, revenue streams while enhancing customer experience and service.

PriceMentor, which offers a dynamic pricing and performance management solution that optimises tour packages prices 24/7 against the competition, ensuring maximum revenue and competitive advantage.

SupplierMentor, which streamlines supplier relationship management for tour operators, enhancing efficiency and communication.

TourMentor, which handles the setup, marketing, sales, operations, and service delivery of tours, ensuring seamless integration and management of all tour components for optimal customer satisfaction.

Synergistically integrated, these systems form a seamless and all-encompassing solution focused on making larger margins, refining travel experiences, fostering customer loyalty, and establishing TAS as a travel industry frontrunner. Through the incorporation of these tools, TAS will provide unrivalled travel services, manage competitive pricing strategies, streamline supplier interactions, and curate unparalleled tour experiences for their clientele in Bangladesh.

TAS, established in 2008, is an award-winning organisation that offers a comprehensive service portfolio which includes logistics, aviation management, and travel and tourism. It is also GSA and General Cargo Sales Agent (GCSA) for several major airlines including AirAsia, Kuwait Airways, and Maldivian (Island Aviation Services).

The Bangladeshi travel market has witnessed significant growth over the past few years. Airports in Bangladesh, including the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital Dhaka, handled 15.3 million domestic and international passengers in the fiscal year 2022-23, a 32% increase compared with the previous year (11.5 million passengers), according to Civil Aviation  Authority data compiled by the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS). The surge was bolstered by increased domestic travel and rising outflow of migrant workers.
