Stanwell House has announced the appointment of Matthew Tomkinson as its new head chef.
Boasting over two decades of experience at some of the country’s most esteemed kitchens, Tomkinson brings an impressive pedigree to his new role.
His career has seen him garner Michelin stars at two separate establishments, alongside multiple industry awards, including the coveted Roux Scholarship.
Having held his first Michelin star at The Goose in Oxfordshire, Tomkinson’s recent successes include the critically acclaimed relaunch of The Hambrough’s restaurant on the Isle of Wight.
Prior to that, he held the esteemed position of chef patron at Betony at The Kings Head, Whiteparish.
