Tottenham Hotspur has received planning approval for a new hotel to be built at the south of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The 30-storey hotel will consist of 180 rooms with 49 residential apartments and 64 car park spaces.
It is also set to include a hotel restaurant, bar, café, swimming pool, gym, terrace and 49 serviced apartments.
The hotel is expected to be built in time for the European Championship in 2028 with the Tottenham Hotspur stadium set to host a number of games.
Two rounds of consultations with neighbouring properties were undertaken in August and November last year, which received four objections due to concerns over increased noise and stress on emergency services.
The planning sub-committee report stated: “The successful delivery of the stadium and associated infrastructure for both Tottenham Hotspur Football Club and other major sporting and non-sporting events on site further supports the principle of the provision of an associated hotel on the site and the significant employment opportunities for the local economy that this will bring.”
