Yotel debuts YotelPad in Europe

Yotel has announced the launch of YotelPad in Europe, with the opening of YotelPad London Stratford.

The 62-key property is home to compact yet comfortable sleeping and living areas, which include a smart bathroom, kitchenette and work desk. The brand’s signatures are also featured, such as the SmartBed, mood lighting, SmartTV and amenities from Urban Jungle.

The hotel also features a 24-hour Mission Control – Yotel’s answer to a traditional reception, enabling guests to check-in independently through digital stations – a Grab & Go area, stocked with refreshments from local partners, as well laundry facilities and ample storage space.

The newbuild development has received an Excellent BREEAM rating, certifying that it has been designed to optimise environmental performance, guest comfort and resource efficiency. Sustainable initiatives can be found throughout, including occupancy sensors in the rooms and corridors to control lighting, air source heat pumps for hot water, MVHR ventilation system and heat recovery, and solar panels. Green roofs also help to absorb rainfall by reducing runoff, while bird and bat boxes support biodiversity efforts in the area.

“We’re delighted to be welcoming our first guests at YotelPad London Stratford this week, and to debut the brand outside of the US for the first time,” says Hubert Viriot, CEO at Yotel. “It marks an exciting step for us, as we target growth for the YotelPad brand globally, to meet the surging demand for flexible, extended stay accommodation worldwide.”
