Focus Hotels has secured the management contract for The Bedford Hotel, a forthcoming five-star establishment in central Belfast. Rockliffe Hall’s culinary director, James Close, has unveiled a new summer residency starting 13 June, as part of enhancing dining experiences at the five-star hotel. Close, formerly of two-Michelin Star Raby Hunt, will introduce Terra, a restaurant offering a diverse menu inspired by global gastronomy. Diners can craft their dining experience from a variety of dishes, including grilled Carabineros and signature sushi selections. The 35-cover restaurant will feature a balcony with views of the estate and golf course. Close aims for Terra to prioritise great ingredients and flavours in a relaxed atmosphere, marking the hotel’s journey towards luxury dining.
